Stripping paint from a model isn’t something that many people would even think about. Me? I make a ton of mistakes. So I’ve had to strip a ton of models. I’ve tried a few different methods. But they all take a long time. One day I decided to experiment with something I hadn’t seen around the hobbyverse. And it worked far better than expected.
So let us continue the series by reminiscing on the many nights of snacks and laughter I spent with tabletop Roleplaying Games. After I will talk of how these pen and paper rpg’s influenced my life.

Another year has gone by. Indeed, another year down the crapper. I have a hard time imagining that anyone can look back and feel particularly good about 2021. The pandemic seems to have gained momentum, current events were miserable, disturbing or both, and people are clearly tired of it all. What an utter dumpster fire.
Has there ever been something that you were trying to do that, no matter how hard you tried, just seemed impossible? Like, the universe was actually trying it’s damnedest to prevent you from accomplishing it? For me, that was the Fire Raptor Gunship. This kit was cursed from day one. Did I let it get to me? F**K YES I DID!
2021 was disappointing for me, Well, in terms of hobbying. The rest of it wasn’t so bad. I failed at every one of the hobby goals I had set prior to the new year. And my output was abysmal compared to years past. I did get some good things done though.
I have always been hesitant to play Dungeons and Dragons. This is NOT because I was poisoned by the court of public opinion. I wasn’t worried that I would become some cliché caricature of a nerd complete with thick glasses and pocket protector.
It’s November.
Wait, It’s November? That can’t be right. Right? It was just January… Or was it July…

And now the 3rd season of Covid. Somehow, still hard to believe.
For us, not much has changed at home. My wife was working from home. I was still working an alternate schedule. And the scope of my Titan project was also about to get much larger.
So let us begin this series with my long-running obsession with Wargames, as well as skirmish games, complicated board games and how they changed my life.
