Table Ready: Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone – Danger Gals Expansions

Project Complete

I’ve been on a Cyberpunk kick ever since January. Last month I finished the core members of the Danger Gals organization. A couple of weeks ago I finished a hefty playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 and its DLC. I started reading an Cyberpunk 2077 novel. And this week I finished the two expansion packs for my Cyberpunk Red Danger Gals. With the latter, my Danger Gals are complete*. Which feels awesome. Not only did I complete one hobby project this year, I’ve completed two! I’m on a roll!

As I mentioned, the final models for the Danger Gals consist of two expansion packs, totaling 8 miniatures. The first is Calamity Control, which contains the CEO of the Danger Gals organization, Michiko Arasaka and her two bodyguards. As well as two ronin characters. Which are solos, I guess. Need to check the rulebook on that one. The second expansion is Peril Pledges which is a set of three Gonks. The young initiates hoping to make their way into the group. Painting these two expansions was fun, but not quite as fun as the core-box models were.

*The Table Ready post that showcased the core of the Danger Gals can be found here.

Calamity Control

I don’t quite know why this set is called Calamity Control. But I surmise it has something to do with their station. The CEO and her elite. If something big goes down, they swoop in and take care of it all. I mean, Michiko is an ‘Arasaka’.

Michiko Sanderson(Arasaka)

The CEO/leader of the Danger Gals Organization. She looks quite different during the Time of the Red, than she does in 2077.

Bodyguards

These guys didn’t appear to have names so I named them L: Nunokawa R: Schmidt. These two bruisers aren’t carrying any visible weaponry, but I can only assume they are kitted out with some hefty cyberware.

Ruri

The ronin in this set didn’t appear to have names either. So I named this one Ruri.

Petra

This one I named this one Petra. With these two models I am on the fence. Dunno if I like them or not. But they do have really pronounced facial features.

Peril Pledges

These are fun models. Each have a lot of character. I think they have more character than a couple of the core-set models. Not a fan of the glasses though. But they work for the models design.

PinkPop

These gonks also didn’t have names. So I named this one PinkPop because of her colors and her weapon is a baseball bat.

Tag

I called her Tag because of the spray can she’s holding and the gas mask. Is it paint or gas she’s spraying? Dunno.

$tella

$tella loves her Eddies, and she plans on raking them in once she’s officially brought in to the Danger Gals.

What’s Next?

I am still heavily feeling Cyberpunk withdrawal following my playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. And finishing these models didn’t quite sate that thirst. I have no plans to do another playthrough of 2077 though. Seeing as I did just about all of the endings the game has to offer thanks to a save point just before the ‘point of no return’ and me successfully unlocking almost all of the endings. So I am most likely going to crack open another set of models. I have Arasaka, Tyger Claws, Maelstrom, and Bozos. As well as a crap ton of solos and various other models. So maybe I will work on those. But I am leaning either: Tygers or Bozos. Gotta take a look at the Monster Fight Club website and see whats available for those factions.

Or perhaps a new faction that I do not already have in my closet… You can really create something custom with all the Edgerunners boxes… Hmm…
