If you ask a dozen people what Star Wars means to them, you may get a dozen different answers. For me Star Wars was a launching point. Not so much into reading Science Fiction novels, writing fan-fiction, or going to conventions. No. For me, it was a launching point into something else completely.
I think it’s pretty obvious but I’ll say it anyway, creating a beloved franchise isn’t easy. You have to come up with an idea, build an entire universe to support it, and invest years and years into bringing that universe to life. Now imagine some jackass that you’ve never met getting mad at you for expanding that story in a way he doesn’t agree with. In what fucking universe does that random jackass have any authority over your idea? The Star Wars universe, apparently.
It was inevitable that once I saw a board game based on the Aliens franchise, which at first glance appeared to be like my beloved game Space Hulk, I was going to own it. I could go on all day about how the movie and the whole franchise has stuck with me all these years, and likely I will do so later.
The Division 2 is similar to the first game, but unlike its predecessor, has you rampaging through Washington D.C. instead of New York City.
