I think it’s pretty obvious but I’ll say it anyway, creating a beloved franchise isn’t easy. You have to come up with an idea, build an entire universe to support it, and invest years and years into bringing that universe to life. Now imagine some jackass that you’ve never met getting mad at you for expanding that story in a way he doesn’t agree with. In what fucking universe does that random jackass have any authority over your idea? The Star Wars universe, apparently.
It was inevitable that once I saw a board game based on the Aliens franchise, which at first glance appeared to be like my beloved game Space Hulk, I was going to own it. I could go on all day about how the movie and the whole franchise has stuck with me all these years, and likely I will do so later.
The Division 2 is similar to the first game, but unlike its predecessor, has you rampaging through Washington D.C. instead of New York City. The game has been out for a few years and you may be wondering if the game is worth taking up a three-year old game and this article is here to tell you why it is.
Join Sarge for a helpful list of Dos and Don’ts when you venture out of your darkened hovels to see a band you love or even just tolerate this summer. Come for the advice and stay for the image of a cartoon George C. Scott getting hit directly in the berries by a football.
As he (too) often does, Tyson bought some models. This time it was the Indomitus box, which came with some more boring marines as usual. Though I have not played any in quite some time. Role playing games helped me during a particularly troubled time in my life. And like many other people, my role playing game journey started with Dungeons & Dragons.
Satan’s game.
I know I am not breaking any new ground when I say that covid has brought a lot of changes into all of our lives. In my case, I went from working in a building with 200 people, to working alone, in my house under my cat’s judgmental gaze. I used to be able to stroll into the liquor store without fear, now I stroll in wearing a cloth mask like a damn beer ninja. I used to have faith in the relative intelligence of mankind… now, not so much.
It all started in a previous age, when AOL was still distributed vigorously via floppy disc delivery. My parents got a computer for the family, because that was a thing you did in the mid 90s. Fate was on my side…
With my Warhound finished, I would now put all of my efforts into finishing the diorama base. Which I had been working on at the same time as the titan. In addition to building the base, I would also craft a story for the scene I was making. When the dust settled, I was left with something I could be super proud of.
