Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing

Poor George Tarleton was a meager technician from Pennsylvania. He joined A.I.M. because he thought their scientific research to be interesting. Little did he know what A.I.M. had in store for him. One day George ”volunteered”(read: volunteered against his will) for an experiment, and the result is what you see today. His cranium grew to such a massive size that his body could no longer support it. He is confined to his special designed chair that is dubbed the ”doomsday chair”.

Originally, he was named M.O.D.O.C. Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing. But A.I.M. underestimated M.O.D.O.C. and that title would quickly change, as the being formerly known as George Tarleton quickly discovered he was now in possession of the worlds most powerful brain. A.I.M.’s experiment would be unstoppable. And M.O.D.O.K. would take control of A.I.M. in a very hostile takeover.

I saw M.O.D.O.K. once, a long time ago in a comic. He is definitely a character made for comics as he is on the ridiculous side. With his massive head and psychic powers. I picked his expansion up because he looked fun. I haven’t had the chance to put him on a table yet for a game, but he was fun to paint. His massive Doomsday Chair was easy enough to paint. And the biggest part of the artist formerly known as George to paint was his massive face. I used a couple skin tones and Fleshshade for that. For his hair I used brown a contrast paint. I tried to get cute with the smoke coming out of the bottom of his chair. Tried to make it look like there were some flames mixed with the smoke. And failed. So I just made it all smoke.

The pose of this model gives me big ”I’ll get you next time, Gadget” vibes.
