In Aeronautica Imperialis: Wings of Vengeance, you take to the skies above the war-torn worlds of the Warhammer 40k universe. Commanding squadrons from the Imperial Navy or Orks. I had been interested in this tactical game since I saw the previews. But how was it?

Today we take a look at Cypher. Fallen son of Lion El’Jonson. This 1999 pewter model is still one of my favorites.
As he (too) often does, Tyson bought some models. This time it was the Indomitus box, which came with some more boring marines as usual. I knew that those would be his since he likes that crap, maybe too much. The other half were some funky looking robot dudes, I told the husband maybe I should try my hand at them.
My Ulfenkarn Journey
Today I’m talking (well typing) about one of my favorite projects, Warhammer Quest Cursed City. The main focus of my writing will look at the models (since they are my favorite part), but I will also briefly touch on the game itself.
With my Warhound finished, I would now put all of my efforts into finishing the diorama base. Which I had been working on at the same time as the titan. In addition to building the base, I would also craft a story for the scene I was making. When the dust settled, I was left with something I could be super proud of.
In Part 2 of my Warhound build I work on, and finish, the upper half of the model. Bringing this model to completion. I also finally figure out what I am going to do about my little problem with the titans left foot.

Stripping paint from a model isn’t something that many people would even think about. Me? I make a ton of mistakes. So I’ve had to strip a ton of models. I’ve tried a few different methods. But they all take a long time. One day I decided to experiment with something I hadn’t seen around the hobbyverse. And it worked far better than expected.
Has there ever been something that you were trying to do that, no matter how hard you tried, just seemed impossible? Like, the universe was actually trying it’s damnedest to prevent you from accomplishing it? For me, that was the Fire Raptor Gunship. This kit was cursed from day one. Did I let it get to me? F**K YES I DID!
