Hobby Hack: Oxi Clean As A Paint Stripper

Stripping paint from a model isn’t something that many people would even think about. Me? I make a ton of mistakes. So I’ve had to strip a ton of models. I’ve tried a few different methods. But they all take a long time. One day I decided to experiment with something I hadn’t seen around the hobbyverse. And it worked far better than expected.

2021, The Year of Meh…

Another year has gone by. Indeed, another year down the crapper. I have a hard time imagining that anyone can look back and feel particularly good about 2021. The pandemic seems to have gained momentum, current events were miserable, disturbing or both, and people are clearly tired of it all. What an utter dumpster fire.

Fire Raptor Hell

Has there ever been something that you were trying to do that, no matter how hard you tried, just seemed impossible? Like, the universe was actually trying it’s damnedest to prevent you from accomplishing it? For me, that was the Fire Raptor Gunship. This kit was cursed from day one. Did I let it get to me? F**K YES I DID!

Hobby Year In Review – 2021

2021 was disappointing for me, Well, in terms of hobbying. The rest of it wasn’t so bad. I failed at every one of the hobby goals I had set prior to the new year. And my output was abysmal compared to years past. I did get some good things done though.

2020 – The Year of Papa Nurgle – Part 4

We are well into June now. The end of June actually. My hobby rut has its grip on my throat. Tyson and I are still doing the Blackstone Fortress thing online occasionally.

At this point Covid-19 has been a part of the world’s vocabulary for half of a year. Insane. What’s even more so is, it’s still not looking like it will be ending anytime soon…
