The XIII Legion – The Ultramarines Horus Heresy Army
In addition to the Warhammer 40k army largely comprised of Primaris Marines, I also created an Heresy Era army of the Ultramarines Legion. Partly because I really enjoyed the narrative of the Betrayal of Calth, but also, because much of the Heresy model line was compatible with 40k. Things escalated rather quickly and I ended up with several thousand points worth of marines painted for Heresy. Currently, both collections total 304 painted models with more on the way.
