Local Cosmology of Raidethe includes two stars and nearly a dozen planets, with three of them in the habitable zone of Solarice, the primary star: Chaarnae, Raidethe and Minothe.
Raidethe Satelites
Vohd (VOE-d) – Named after the God of Shadows, the primary moon of Raidethe waxes and wanes over a twenty-eight day period and was the primary driving force behind the months of the calendar.
Dacen (DAY-sen) – Also known as the Dreamstone, the small irregular moon with a large orbit is named after the God of Dreams. It has a two month cylcle and every other cycle brings it closer to Raidethe causing vivid dreams, a raise in cult activity and psychological unrest. On the rare instances, usually every 4 years, where both moons are full at the same time, wild magic is known to rampage across the world.
Two Suns
Bright Sun – Solarice. The Sun, shedding light across the system and bringing life to a large number of planets and moons.
Dark Sun – Nemesis. Also known as the Dark Star or Black Sun, the Nemesis sun is the polar opposite of the solar system’s central star. Orbiting a great distance from the Solarice Sun, known for pulling passing asteroids from outer space and hurling them towards the populated planets of the Solarice System.
Planets
planet one – Nohteran. A small white planet of blasted and bleached stone too close to Solarice to support life on its surface, but many creatures live within the bowels of the planet. Nohteran has no moons.
planet two – Marce. (dwarf planet)
planet three – Chaarnae. Lush jungle planet with large equatorial desert
planet four – Raidethe.
planet five – Minothe is a cold desert planet with a vast tundra on each pole. At the extreme end of the habitable zone of the star, Minothe is only populated by hardy creatures, and even the Eldar Dwarve race lives under the surface.
planet six – Everice a gaseous planet surrounded by rings of ice
planet seven – Vestaire, (Dwarf Planet)
planet eight – Dearainne
planet one-half – Uradae. Partially destroyed planet with an exposed core and mangled elliptical rotation. Uradae was ruined during a cosmic event unknown to the mortal beings of Raidethe.
planet nine – Aaravox
planet ten – Septarr.
planet eleven – Saamarel. A small and unbelievably cold planet populated by a mysterious race of metal humanoid beings which seem more like golems than living creatures.
