Collecting Steel Legion

In August 2000, I wandered into the local Games Workshop in Harrogate England. On the counter was multiple copies of White Dwarf issue 248. On the cover was Gazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka with his power claw raised, and practically the entire edition was devoted to the Ork Waaaagh vs Steel Legion on the ashen wastes of Armageddon. In short I was hooked! Something about just gobs of tanks and fully mechanized divisions in the barren desert appealed to me at a subconscious level, and thus the problem collecting began…
