Minor Faction of Sigil working toward Balance, so that the whole cosmos doesn’t collapse. The Cosmomancers see all of reality as a disc balanced precariously at the center upon a the point of infinity. Their belief is should one philosophy over another take power, such as too much law or unchecked chaos, the Scales will tip in that direction and all of reality will slip off and fall into ruin, never to be placed on the balance again.
The founder and Factoral Accittaz (neutral, lizardfolk cleric) is the current Factoral, and is putting all effort into building their membership. The Scales hide within the Pit of Blades within the Under sigil, a bar with a rickety stairway without a railing descending back and forth four stories to the base of the pit surrounded by rotating rings of rusty blades. Once on the base level, a hidden door in slowest moving lower ring opens to two doors, one on each side of the pit, that lead down to a basement meeting room and barracks.
Accittaz is dedicated to the balance, gifted with an ability to feel the direction that reality is leaning towards. By simply placing his feet up on the ground in the Outlands, he can sense the leaning of the scales. He sees this as both a blessing and a curse. He seeks to bring those that will fight for balance to him to protect existence.
Faction Attire. They all wear gray. Gray robes. Grary armor.
Role in Sigil. The Cosmomancers have no real role other than pushing and pulling as necessary to keep the forces of chaos and order, as well as the powers of law and evil all in balance.
Prominent members are: Jhell O the blue plasmoid cleric, Brickhouse warforged barbarian, Sastrafphina the gold dragonkin sorceress, KL1C KL4C the autognome warrior and Immilaya the Githzerai Monk, she stares at Chad’s Githyanki.
There also a few minor members: Gilix (neutral human female Wizard, Korgoth (neutral human male Barbarian), Gidget Geargrinder (neutral female gnome artificer), Brandish (neutral orc ranger) and Tragedy (neutral female tiefling Druid).
Pit of Blades
If one can locate the correct seedy alley in Nowhere, one may be unlucky enough to find the entry to the Pit of Blades, but one probably shouldn’t. It is a den of lost souls, where the unaligned Free League members meet frequently, because misery likes company.
